When a Woman is Being Abused
Safe Shelter – Transition House Program
For women and their children who have experienced abuse.
At the transition house, we provide shelter and support for women with or without children seeking safety from abuse in their relationship and for recent survivors of sexual assault.
Support includes
- Meals and laundry facilities
- Transportation to appointments
- Accompaniment to appointments
- Child support activities, and where possible, child care
- Referrals to community resources
